Mrs. Wendy Torres, BCBC is a Board Certified Biblical Counselor with years of experience as a Marriage and Family Counselor who has maintained a private practice in Grand Prairie, Texas since 2009 working with a broad spectrum of clients. As a graduate of Light University she specializes in Individual, Family and Marriage Therapy. Her areas of expertise also include depression, anger management, conflict resolution, eating disorders, grief and loss, parenting issues, sexual dysfunctions, communication, divorce recovery, pastors/ministers, addictions, infidelity, marital conflict, premarital counseling, and women's challenges. In 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 she has been acknowledged in the three top rated marriage counselors in the city of Grand Prairie, Texas. In addition to being a prominent relationship counselor, Wendy Torres has also hosted a daily syndicated radio show on local radio stations in Dallas, Denver, Indianapolis and online weekly live shows. She has hosted an international show in Australia, Africa, Pakistan, and the United Kingdom and has hosted a weekly show on Victory Television Network. Mrs. Torres has been actively involved in ministry work for more than 27 years. She has presented at Christian Marriage Conferences, Women's Conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of Marriage Relationships, Family Relationships, and Encouragement for Women. Wendy serves as a volunteer on the staff of The Pregnancy Resource Center in Grand Prairie. She is a member of The American Association of Christian Counselors and Co-Partnering with Marriage Today. Likewise she has been featured as a column writer for Manna Express and Heart and Soul Magazine.  She has been recognized by The international Who's Who among Professional and Business Women as one who sets the standard to excel, inspire and motivate! In addition she has been a distinguished recipient of the 2014 REVIVE Award as an Honoree and recognized for her contribution to people's emotional well being. Mrs. Torres has been awarded "Woman of The Week " by The Single On Purpose Ministry in Dallas. She is both an Advisory Board Member and Presidential Member of The Christian Women in Media Association (CWIMA). Mrs. Wendy has recently completely numerous training sessions with The Gottman Institute such as The Gottman Method to Treating Affairs and Trauma, The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work, Gottman level 1 and Gottman Conflict Resolution, to further her education and knowledge.
